\n\n It was a rainy March evening when Megan headed out to meet a friend at a Cybersecurity Meetup at the Revelry Brewery in Charleston, SC. When she walked in and approached the group, she was introduced to Phill, who was also a Computer Science student that\n had been unwittingly brought along to the Meetup. After chatting for a while about school, friends, and traveling, they went their separate ways and it was months later until they met again.\n
\n\n Phill was walking out of class one day when he bumped into a familiar face. It had been months since he had met her, but he still remembered how easy their conversation had been. He asked a friend for her phone number and texted her to see if she would\n like to work on schoolwork together sometime. She said she was busy. A week or so later, he asked her again. She was happy he had asked, but she was still busy. This continued for a couple of months.\n
\n\n Megan had just returned from a long week away when she received a text from Phill asking if she wanted to get a drink. Her first instinct was to say no and just go to bed and have an early night... but it had been a long week and she hadn’t been out in\n ages. She replied back to Phill to meet her at the Shelter, a casual outside bar on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant.\n
\n\n “Dude she said yes! I gotta go!” Amidst the cheers of his friends, Phill ran to his bike, pedaled across downtown Charleston to his car, and roared across the bridge to get to the Shelter. Megan, who only lived 5 minutes away, still arrived later than\n he did.\n
\n\n They talked for hours that first night. The next morning, they met for breakfast at Phill’s favorite spot and, from then on out, they were simply inseparable. A few weeks in, Megan called her mom to tell her about this new relationship: “I think I’m in\n trouble” was all she said. They graduated with their degrees in Computer Science, traveled across the country to move to Los Angeles, CA, and started their first jobs in the industry. They were visiting Charleston again\n in March 2019 when Phill surprised (really surprised) Megan by proposing to her at Revelry, the place where they had met two years before.\n

\n\n A couple of guests have asked if we still plan on having a registry even though the wedding event has been canceled. If you would still like to give a gift in celebration of our marriage, please consider contributing to our honeymoon fund!\n
\n\n We are planning to go on honeymoon to Bali, Indonesia, when the coronavirus situation is over!\n
\n\n Thank you so much for the gift!\n
\n\n Dear Friends and Family\n
\n\n Due to the impact of the coronavirus situation around the world, we have decided, after much deliberation, to delay our wedding ceremony indefinitely.\n
\n\n We are heart broken that things have turned out this way, but at this time we feel this is the best and safest thing to do. We were very much looking to celebrating with all our of closest friends and family, and we hope to still do so in the future.\n
\n\n We will also be sending out reminders in the mail for the cancellation - so be on the lookout for those. Also, if you had many members in your party, please be sure to let them know about the event being postponed as well.\n\n
\n Thank you all for your love and support as we navigate this situation. We hope you all remain safe, until we can all be together and celebrate again.\n
